If you are shipping taped devices to a customer or receiving them for your own use, the PT-45 Peel Force Tester offers an important test for tape seal quality. A seal that is not strong enough can delaminate and allow parts to fall out of the tape. On the other hand, a seal that is too strong can make proper peeling of the tape impossible, costing the Pick and Place operation thousands of dollars in down time.

The PT-45 offers a new lightweight design that is simple to operate and easy to maintain. It is an ideal quality tool, accommodating tape widths from 8 mm to 120 mm. The PT-45 is capable of multiple peel tests with peel speeds of 120 and 300 mm per minute.
